What began as a physical gallery in Omaha, Nebraska in 1976 evolved into music and book publishing under the same name; Cathedral Art Gallery Records.
Journaling my travels was the source of my early writings. Painting and photographing my travels all took root in my mid-teens on a journey to Pakistan. The process of learning how to publish music turned into a thirst to expand into more forms of self expression. Books, three so far, with one translated into Spanish. Three albums of original music also followed.
Learning the nuts and bolts from concepts to finished product is what gives an artist their unique voice. No artistic discipline lives in a vacuum without influences from other art forms. My cross roads are brought together through music, art, and photography.
To date the most successful project was my book about Janet Dexter Storer. Seeing her original art in various folks houses in this small town lead me on a detective hunt for more art and more stories about Janet.
Now life has taken me full circle, back to a gallery, more music, and a chance to display local talents of Weld, Maine, all in a natural setting where the garden is as important as the studio.
