My Story

My goals were to create and explore in many mediums. My first painting was at age twelve. Now  days, I’d rather paint than visit a museum, I’d rather learn about writings books than read one. I’d rather grow a garden and live a simple life than chase luxury and complicate life.

Early on I made choices that put economic struggle above luxury. It was the “tune in, drop out” phase of my hippie values. My professional teaching began long after years of creative output. All this turns the journey into a very personal expression. A spiritual accomplishment comes for the discipline of art and music. Happiness comes to those that practice.
